In a significant development in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha inaugurated multipurpose cinema halls in South Kashmir's Pulwama and Shopian districts. Terming it as a "historic day", Sinha said that this step will help to create employment for the youth.
Kashmir is all set to get its first multiplex cinema after three decades in Srinagar, which comes as a major move to bring entertainment to the youth in the Valley along with employment opportunities.

Gone are the days of grabbing popcorn and spending lavishly in movie cinemas. In a new welcoming move, the Maharashtra government has announced that there viewers will be free to carry their own eatables inside the multiplex. There would be no difference in the MRP of food products sold outside and inside multiplexes in the state.
