Over 73000 connections have been provided so far to the eligible families in the Himachal Pradesh under Ujjawala Yojna. This was said by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur while reviewing the progress of Central and State Governments welfare schemes. During the review meeting, CM Jai Ram Thakur said, “As many as 73074 LPG connections have been provided so far to the eligible families in the State under Ujjawala Yojna and all eligible families would be given such connections before 2019.”
The Centre also extended the deadline for linking of Aadhaar with the welfare schemes till June 30, where benefits are transferred to citizens from the Consolidated Fund of India. The earlier deadline was 31 March.
