Eight die after being hit with a flash floods in Jalpaiguri, while immersing Maa Durga idols in river Mal

Eight persons died during flash floods that hit the Mal River at Jalpaiguri district in West Bengal on Wednesday (Oct 5) evening District Magistrate Moumita Godara Basu said. One more body was recovered taking the toll up to eight, the district official said.
