In Chhattisgarh, Fourteen Maoists were arrested from different places of Sukma and Narayanpur district of Bastar division on Tuesday. Police officials said that these Maoists were arrested by a joint team of District Police and DRG during search operations. Police said, these Maoists were involved in several incidents, including IED blasts.
In Sukma district of Chhattisgarh, eight Naxalites have been arrested from the Chintagufa area. Police Deputy Inspector General (Dantewada Range) Sundarraj said that during the operation, a joint team of District police, CRPF Cobra, and Special Task Force arrested the militants from the forest under the Chintagufa Police Station area.
The Security forces killed at least six Naxalites in an encounter which took place in Abhujhmargh Prahaar in Narayanpur district of Chhattisgarh. After the counterattack finished, the security forces recovered nine weapons from the spot and destroyed a few Naxals camps in Sukma area.
