For several days there has been chaos and unrest in Gilgit-Baltistan that has raised concerns as the protestors have been demanding to get united with India, according to Islam Khabar.

The strategically place region of Gilgit-Baltistan, which legitimately belonged to Bharat, is under illegal and forcible occupation of Pakistan and China. The Modi government hs made some moves that surprised the Pakiastanis most.
China, of course, would never admit to the undertone of colonialism with regard to its Belt and Road Initiative. But symptoms are there but no diagnosis as yet; this form of colonialism is not so hard-edged and couched in a different language and harder to recognize. Hence I call it crypto-colonialism.
