Construction of 56,368 houses have been approved under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY-U) at the 53rd Central Sanctioning and Monitoring Committee Meeting that was held on Feb 22. The houses are proposed to be constructed under various verticals of the PMAY-U Mission.
