The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has released the first-day image from the Hyperspectral Imaging Satellite HYSIS. The first-day image was acquired at NRSC Hyderabad on December 2, covering parts of Lakhpat in Gujarat. The sample color composite image represents VNIR spectral bands.

ISRO successfully launched Earth observation satellite. 30 satellites of 8 nations have launched successfully. The goal of #HysIS is to study Earth's surface in visible, near infrared and shortwave infrared regions of the electromagnetic spectrum.
India will be launching it’s Hyper-sectral Imaging Satellite ‘HysIS’ with the help of PSLV-C43 on 29th of November. This will be the 68th launch mission for ISRO from Sriharikota and the sixth one this year forming the second launch of this specific month.
