Notably, an X account has compared the crowd turnouts at the Women's Premier League and Pakistan Super League. Both the T20 tournaments are being held simultaneously.

A picture of the crowd comparison of both these competitions have gone viral which showed a packed stadium at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium for the Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Delhi Capitals showdown in WPL 2024. At the same time, the turnout was not that great for the Karachi Kings vs Quetta Gladiators PSL 2024 match, which was being played at the National Stadium in Karachi.

Fans reacted after spotting a clear difference in the turnouts. It has to be noted that there have been poor turnout for the two group matches in PSL 2024 which has been played in Karachi.

In a thrilling match of the WPL 2024, the Delhi Capitals emerged victorious against Royal Challengers Bangalore. In PSL match on Thursday, Karachi Kings posted a competitive total of 165/8 in 20 overs. However, Quetta Gladiators chased it down, securing a thrilling victory with 5 wickets to spare and no balls left. Sherfane Rutherford's unbeaten 58 off 31 deliveries played a pivotal role in Gladiators' win, earning him the Player of the Match title. Jason Roy's 52 off 31 balls also bolstered the Gladiators' innings at the National Stadium Karachi.
