Hours after his car was attacked by the mob over his derogatory remarks against Bharat Ratna Lal Krishna Advani, journalist Nikhil Wagle has again spewed venom against Hindus saying, "Won't let India become Hindu Pakistan."

It should be noted that on 10 February, the mob attacked Journalist Nikhil Wagle's car at Khandoji Baba Chowk in Pune on Friday evening when he was travelling for the Nirbhay Bano event. As per the reports, the mob threw ink on the car in which Wagle and two others, Aseem Sarode, and Vishwambhar Choudhary, were travelling under police protection to the 'Nirbhay Bano' event organised by Rashtra Seva Dal in the Singhad Road area here.
 
 
 
Visuals showed the BJP workers mobbing the car at Khandoji Baba Chowk and later vandalising it which resulted in the damage of the vehicle's windscreen and side panes. The official further said that Wagle was able to reach the venue of the event under strict police protection.
 
Following the attack, Nikhil took to social media and tweeted, "I am indebted to everyone. Digested six attacks so far. Yesterday's attack was the worst. Stones, sticks, hockey sticks, rods, eggs, and ink were all used. We were chased four times in just half an hour and surrounded. The attack took place with the connivance of the police. I believe that we all survived yesterday only with the blessings of Phule-Ambedkar. Now the next life is for you. We will conquer Maharashtra to defeat fascism."
 
 
 
He wrote, "We have no culture to fear such cowardly attacks. I am saying here that I will risk my life again so that this country does not become a Hindu Pakistan. I can never repay all of you. You all worked hard to make yesterday's meeting a success..how can we thank you? Does not call much. Still have not recovered from yesterday's shock. After talking to you in detail in the evening"

The Pune police have registered a police complaint against the Wagle.

BJP’s Sunil Deodhar filed the complaint at Vishrambag police station, Wagle. The police booked them under sections 153 A (promoting enmity between different groups), 500 (punishment for defamation) and 505 (statements conducing to public mischief of the Indian Penal Code).
 
 
 
Deodhar wrote on X on February 6 that he had filed a police complaint demanding “strict action” against Wagle over a post “against our country’s highest offices” – president Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Modi and Advani.
