In not so shocking and well-expected move by the DMK's Eradicate Sanatan gang, the MK Stalin-led Tamil Nadu government has conferred the Kottai Ameer Communal Harmony Award on So-Called Fact Checker Mohammed Zubair of Alt News who is responsible for the killing of Hindus like Kanhaiya Lal, Umesh Kolhe.

 

 

The 'Anti Hindu' government noted that his "work helps prevent the occurrence of violence in society likely to be caused by fake news."

 

In a press release, the DMK government said “Thiru. Mohammad Zubair has created a website called ‘Alt News’ and has been analyzing the veracity of the news coming out on social media and posting only the real news on his website. His work helps to prevent the occurrence of violence in society likely to be caused by fake news.”

 

The official press release of the DMK government further went on to cite the incident when North Indian migrant labourers, primarily from Tiruppur and surrounding areas, were fleeing the state fearing attacks against them.

 

 

 

“In March 2023, there was a rapid spread on social media that migrant workers were being attacked in Tamil Nadu. After verifying the authenticity of the video footage, he published on his website ‘Alt News website that the footage in the video posted on social media had not actually taken place in Tamil Nadu and thus stopped the spread of rumours against Tamil Nadu and acted to prevent violence caused by caste, religion, race and language in Tamil Nadu.“, the DMK government’s official press release said.

 

“In appreciation of the services rendered by him in the maintenance of communal harmony, Thiru. Mohammed Zubair is presented with the KOTTAI AMEER COMMUNAL HARMONY AWARD for the year 2024.“, the DMK government said.

 

Mohammed Zubair has been arrested for hurting religious sentiments. He has been accused of offending religious sentiments and inciting hatred under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code by the Special Cell of the Delhi Police. It should be noted that AltNews co-founder Mohammed Zubair, is known for peddling fake news and targetting Hindus. A classic case of his dog whistling and brazen propaganda was the Nupur Sharma controversy of May 2022.

 

The ex-BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma found herself at the centre of a raging storm after Islamists, egged on by the likes of AltNews co-founder Mohammed Zubair, issued multiple threats against her and her family for expressing her views on Prophet Muhammad and Islam. Zubair shared an incomplete video of the debate, touching off Sar Tan Se Juda protests all over the country. While Islamists went on a rampage on the streets in many cities across the country, it was essentially Mohammed Zubair who was responsible for kindling a fire that had gone on to assume uncontrollable proportions.

 

It was Mohammed Zubair who spearheaded a campaign against Nupur Sharma, accusing her of insulting the Prophet Muhammad and letting loose an army of Islamists against her that ultimately snuffed out the lives of Lal, Kolhe, and many others.
