In a significant cultural event, actors Rakesh Bedi and Vindu Dara Singh are participating in the 'Ramleela' performances in Ayodhya, leading up to the 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony of the Ram Temple. The rituals commenced on January 16, with the consecration ceremony scheduled for January 22.
During his visit to Ayodhya, Vindu Dara Singh expressed his enthusiasm about the event, where he is portraying the role of Bhagwan Shiv. He mentioned, "I have been invited to perform Ram Leela in Ayodhya from 16th to 22nd January. I am playing the role of Bhagwan Shiv. Ayodhya will become the world’s top pilgrimage site. It is said that Satyayuga is coming even within Kaliyuga”
Vindu has followed in his father, the legendary wrestler-actor Dara Singh's footsteps, by portraying Bhagwan Hanuman in Ram Leela performances. He has played the role at the prestigious Ayodhya Ram Leela, showcasing his dedication and respect for the epic Ramayana. Vindu Dara Singh's association with Ram Leela is not just a professional venture but a reflection of his deep personal faith and respect for the Hindu epic and its values.
Actor Rakesh Bedi reflected the similar sentiments, and the transformative impact of infrastructure development. He stated, "A lot of changes will take place after the construction of the airport. Wherever the airport is built, development automatically starts very fast."
The cultural performances and the upcoming consecration ceremony are expected to draw attention to Ayodhya as a prominent pilgrimage site. With the city gearing up for these events, the actors' contributions to the 'Ramleela' performances add a cultural touch to the preparations for the momentous 'Pran Pratishtha' of the Ram Temple.
