A video of a passenger aboard a Delhi-Goa IndiGo flight punching the pilot of the aircraft while he was announcing delays has gone viral on social media.
In the video, the pilot can be seen announcing delays when a passenger, wearing a yellow hoodie, runs up to the pilot and slaps him on the face. A flight attendant standing beside the pilot immediately comes to his rescue and stands in front of the pilot, trying to address the situation. The passenger is then pulled behind by another man - wearing a sky blue hoodie - as chaos spreads inside the cabin.
The passenger, identified as Sahil Kataria, was deboarded after the incident and handed over to the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). The pilot filed a complaint against the passenger to Delhi Police based on which an FIR has been registered in the case. Further investigation into the matter is underway.
