Dragging Hindu tradition in every issues, merely to run their anti-Hindu propaganda and malign the impression of Sanatan Dharma, is an old habit of the Liberal intellectual. This time too, Chief cartoonist of Times of India, Sandeep Adhwaryu, targeted a Hindu religion while representing Hindu phobic cartoon to represent a horrific case that emerged from Ujjain.

Hinduphobic Cartoon

This comes after the Hindu phobic cartoon went viral on social media triggering a massive controversy. The cartoon depicted a harrowing incident that unfolded in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, involving a 12-year-old girl who had been raped and was in a distressed state, desperately seeking assistance as she wandered from one house to another on the streets. This distressing video of the incident spread widely on social media, prompting a justified public outcry.
In that cartoon which was meant to deliver a message of the spine-chilling reality of the incident, the Hindu Phobic cartoonist represented that Hindus were busy worshipping a cow, While a Hindu girl – was roamed bleeding, brutalised and helpless.
However, while making cartoons, it seems like the Adhwaryu has ignored the fact that it was the Hindu Poojari-who worshipped Cows- who helped the victim who walked 8 km in the city in search of Help. The Hindu Poojari not only clothes the girl but also takes her to the hospital.
However, despite the reality, the cartoonist chooses to represent a Hindu-phobic cartoon targeting Hindu traditions. Why did you relate this to Hinduism and cow Worshiping?

It should be noted that there are 11% Muslims in Ujjain. Why does Sandeep Adhwaryu not show a mosque or people doing Namaz in this cartoon? Why are they targeting the entire Hindu religion over this incident?

In light of this Hindumisic cartoon, the Legal Rights Observatory (LRO) has filed a complaint with the Press Council of India against Times Of India and the cartoonist. “We all will press for FIR against cartoonist Sandeep Adhwaryu n Editor under non-bailable IPC Sections”, the LRO said in a tweet.

Following this, fearing the action over the cartoon, he claimed later that the cartoon was not for Times of India but he had used the logo ‘by mistake’. He deleted the one with the TOI logo and apologised for it

It should be noted that this is not the first time that the Times of India has published Hindu Phobic cartoons. From time to time, the Times group's own News Paper agency has been targeting Hinduism under the name of Cartoon.
