Asian Games: India's first-ever gold medal in equestrian after 41 years, sailors bag three medals

In yet another historic moment at the ongoing Asian Games, the Indian team has bagged a gold medal in equestrian dressage. This gold medal came after 41 years since its 1982 debut.

 

 

 

The team featuring Sudipti Hajela, Divyakriti Singh, Hriday Chheda and Anush Agarwalla finished with a score of 209.205, pipping China and Hong Kong who completed the podium.

 

 

Apart from this, three Indian sailors has bagged three medals at the event. Eabad Ali won a bronze medal for India in sailing. He finished third in Men’s Windsurfer RS:X event. His net score of 52 is behind South Korea's Cho Wonwoo (13) and Thailand’s Natthaphong Phonopparat (29).
