In a shocking development, the chief of the banned US-based Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) outfit, Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannu, has threatened Hindus of Indian origin in Canada.

He has asked Hindus to leave Canada as soon as possible. They have demanded that these individuals leave Canada for supporting India and allegedly promoting violence by celebrating the killing of Khalistani leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar.

He has released the video on social media. In a viral video, SFJ's legal counsel Gurpatwant Pannun stated that 'Indo-Hindus' should leave Canada and go to India because they support India and suppress the speech and expression of pro-Khalistan Sikhs.Notably, Pannun has been designated as a terrorist in India.

Pannu said that after the Trudeau government in Canada paused the trade agreement with India, the Canadian Hindus are working against the national interests of Canada adding that they are siding with India. Moreover, he alleged that the Canadian Hindus are not only backing India but also supporting its alleged suppression of pro-Khalistan voices. “You are supporting violence by celebrating the assassination of Shaheed Nijjar,” Pannu reportedly said.

This video surfaced when Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau suggested a "potential link" between Indian government agents and Nijjar's killing in June. This claim led to diplomatic tensions between the two countries, with India dismissing Trudeau's claim as "absurd and motivated". Trudeau emphasised that Canada didn't intend to provoke or escalate the situation.

It is notable here that Khalistani terrorists in Canada have repeatedly threatened violence against Indian diplomats and endangered Indian diplomatic missions. The Indian government has raised this issue with the Canadian government multiple times.

SFJ seems emboldened by the Trudeau government's recent disengagement with India.Pannun's threat has raised concerns among Canadian Hindus, with Vijay Jain of Canadian Hindus for Harmony expressing worry about growing Hinduphobia and Hindu targeting.
