Gandhinagar, Sept 2: The family of a 20-year-old Hindu female has alleged that a Muslim man eloped with her and gradually withdrew Rs 15 lakh from her mother’s bank account in Amroli of Surat.
According to reports, a 52-year-old farmer living in Kosad filed a complaint at Amroli police station. He claimed that his 20-year-old daughter left home on Aug 26, informing them that she was going to Surat city for work. When she didn’t return by evening, her family tried to contact her by phone, but her phone was switched off.

The family then searched for her in the surrounding areas and contacted relatives. When their efforts to locate her failed, they went to a police station. The police allegedly told them to wait and ignored the matter, as claimed by the female’s family.
