NB Exclusive | SHOCKING REVELATIONS on Shama Biryani Case: Know how 'Fact checker' Zubair makes huge omissions to spread propaganda

Recently, NewsBharati published a report citing various well-known media journalists & personalities citing the alleged use of gutter water in preparing biryani the video uploaded clearly showed the passage of an alleged green color plastic pipe from the gutter to a Water pump passing underneath a Tandoor box.

 

 

 

This was an alleged allegation of many personalities & well-known media journalists &Telegram news channels. 

The complaint was even filed by the Legal Activism group Kalinga Rights Forum with FSSAI Govt of INDIA as well as Haryana Govt officials citing to take action against the so-called Dhaba.

 

Now in an interesting development, it has come to the fore that, when the name of a dhaba is checked in “commodity, Category or Area Specific Search” in Food Safety & Standards Authority of India (FSSAI)’s official Govt website: https://foscos.fssai.gov.in/. The Govt website displays “Record Not Found” exposing a Pandora box of questions against the said Shama Biryani Dhaba.

 

Is the alleged Dhaba operating with another name? Who is its real owner? Did the alleged dhaba obtain a valid FSSAI Licence? Newsbharati team decided to dig deep.

 

Newsbharati team contacted the persons in the video who cornered the Shama Biryani Dhaba that day.

One of the people who was part of the group who exposed the gutter water being released on roads was Kalka city’s Bajrangdal’s Dhimmi Gujjar.

On being asked about the incident, Dhimmi Gujjar said, “We were earlier aware of the fact, that the said Shama Biryani Dhaba is making the surroundings dirty & filthy that is why we have already warned the dhaba staff on 28th July not to release the gutter water on the road as it’s the holy month of SAWAN & Bhagwan Shiva is worshipped by devotees of Hindu religion by carrying water to be offered to Bhagwan Shiva in Kawad Yatras & thus intentionally making the roads dirty with nonveg & gutter laced water will hurt religious sentiments of Hindus.

 

But on the 14th of August, night we came to know that Shama Biryani Dhaba’s staff had released gutter water & nonveg water on the road. We were nearby, so we reached the location within 5 minutes & saw one of the Shama Biryani Dhaba staff making roti in his tandoor box near the gutter, as we approached the dhaba & switched on our mobile cameras to videotape the incident, the staff who was making the roti on the tandoor roti station Box near the gutter came out from the place where he was making the roti & tried to hide the plastic pipe which was connected to the gutter passing through a covering which covers the gutter. When we inspected the gutter cover we found that the pipe was connected to a water pump which can be seen in the viral video. Another yellow pipe from the water pump was passed under the tandoor-making Box & went towards the road where it released the gutter water making the area filthy & foul smells were also emanating.

 

Seeing us videotaping, the brother of Subhan Ali who was present at the place suddenly started acting suspiciously as if he was getting beaten by someone & even offered us a bribe of Rs 5000/- to hush up the entire incident which is itself suspicious.

 

As we all know a person won’t offer to bribe you unless he has something to hide.

 

He was behaving as an actor.

Then we called the 112 Police helpline of Pinjore Police Station but the police did not turn up & we went to Pinjore Police Station to file an FIR.

Later SHO & SP called the staff of Shama Biryani Dhaba with their Aadhar cards for verification as a Probe was launched.

Later their Dhaba staff came to Pinjore police station where they gave in writing & signed an undertaking apology letter so that they wouldn’t repeat the mistake again.”

Glaring Discrepancies about the Dhaba raises Serious questions

 

 

During the course of our investigation from ground sources, the Newsbharati team contacted Mr. Dhimmi Gurjar, the same person whom the AltNews Hindi website quoted in a paragraph from Kalka Pinjore Live's facebook page.

Mr Dhimmi Gurjar who is part of Bajrangdal, a sister organization of Vishwa Hindu Parishad(VHP), Kalka city revealed to us that, the said dhaba “Shama Biryani Dhaba” is registered as “Shama Dhaba” in the original FSSAI License.

 

 

 

 

 

It is actually suspicious as to why the real name of the business is altered from “Shama Dhaba” to the current name on the display board “Shama Biryani Dhaba”. Was it done too deliberately? the question still stands..

 

 

According to the FSSAI certificate accessed by Newsbharati, the said business is registered under the name of “Mujjafar Ali” & not Subhan Ali as mentioned in the fact check of Alt News as its owner.

 

It is actually suspicious why this data isn’t worth mentioning that the FSSAI Certificate categorically mentions Mujjafar Ali as its FBO.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

After the video went viral on social media, it garnered angry reactions from netizens. Newsbharati team closely tracked the developments in the incident.

 

Suspiciously, the entire team of staff was changed overnight by Shama Biryani Dhaba following the video that went viral. This was also confirmed to us by Dhimmi Gujjar of Bajrangdal Kalka city.

 

Why would some business change their entire staff overnight unless they have something to hide?

 

Also, the alleged owner Subhan Ali(as per Altnews) has come to the shop now, he was not present on many occasions when Dimmi Gujjar went to the dhaba forbidding the dhaba staff not to release gutter water on the road.

It is also pertinent to ask why Altnews did not mention this in both of its fact checks published on both Hindi and English websites.

 

 

 

 

As per Dhimmi Gujjar, Kalka city Bajrangdal, “the said green color water pipe which was put in the gutter & then connected to water pump before passing under the tandoori roti making box going towards the road where gutter water is released is now missing suspiciously.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Newsbharati team believes this passage of yellow color pipe from the water pump from under the tandoor roti-making station gave the impression to netizens that gutter water was used in making food items though there is no video evidence of it but the Staff of Shama Biryani Dhaba in the viral video pleading not to repeat mistake & offering bribe of Rs 5000/- to hush up the incident added up to confusion that something is fishy as no sane person will offer bribe unless he/she wants the incident to be hidden.

 

In the subsequent video posted by Altnews fact check, the said water pump & green color pipe were also missing & not at all shown in the video sent by the said dhaba to Altnews which also increases suspicion tremendously raising a plethora of questions in the minds of readers.

 

The Newsbharati team carefully observed the fact checks of the Altnews website in both Hindi and English.

We noted a deliberate omission from Altnews English fact-checking website.

 

Alt News fact checks Hindi website published an embedded video of Kalka Pinjore live, a facebook page from Haryana on this incident clearly citing Shama Biryani Dhaba's staff allegedly trying to pay a bribe of Rs 5000/- to Bajrang Dal Karyakartas to hush up the incident & hide this incident as well as giving written apology letter in Pinjore Police station not to repeat this mistake of releasing filthy water on roads creating dirty unhealthy environment.

 

 

 

But the video was deliberately omitted by Alt News from its English fact check website as it was showing the Shama Biryani Dhaba’s faults & lacunas of offering a bribe to Bajrang Dal karyakartas to hide & hush up the incident & written apology submitted by the said dhaba in Pinjore police station.

 

 

 

 

Such deliberate omissions point to the deliberate bias of the Altnews fact checker team who have not brought out this critical information for its readers.

 

Fact checking and truth hunting is a noble work as it remove the veil of falsehoods, but it should be done without any bias.
