The incident took place in Kerala's Alleppey and it came to light in the mainstream media after an X user tweeted about the same on social media. As per the information, he died due to the cancer.
 
 
 
While talking to the News Bharati reporter, the Hindu Seva Kendra worker informed that the deceased person was not born catholic but his grandparents had converted to Christianity. When their grandchildren passed away due to cancer illness, the CSI congregation denied the burial space to the church cemetery.
 
Then the devastated family contacted the Hindu Seva Kendra who then promptly accepted the family’s request. Their dedicated team brought a mobile pyre unit to the location to perform the necessary rituals.
