It's indeed a 'Mic Drop Moment' for Prime Minister Narendra Modi as he replied to the no-confidence motion, brutally, trolling the newly formed Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (I.N.D.I.A). He said, " they held a "funeral" of the UPA alliance in Bengaluru in July."

Referring to the formation of the INDIA bloc, he said, "I express sympathies with my opposition friends; they performed the last rites of UPA in Bengaluru."

He further said, “The opposition thinks they can rule India by changing name. The poor can see their name but not work. The hospitals, parks, educational institutions, sports awards, airports and museums have their names. They ran pro-poor welfares in their names but indulged in corruption.”

He also poked fun at the Congress MP and Lok Sabha Leader Of Opposition Adhir Ranjan by saying that he is good at running things. “His party did not give him the opportunity to speak. Amit Bhai and the speaker both, especially, gave him time to speak but Adhir Ji Gud Gobar karne mein mahir hain (He is an expert in ruining things)."

PM Modi during his speech also questioned “Why has the Lok Sabha Leader Of Opposition Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury been sidelined? Was there a phone call from Kolkata,” indirectly referring to TMC chief & West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee.

PM Modi's kala teeka jibe

Calling the Opposition's approach like that of an ostrich, PM Modi said the abuse of the Opposition is like the 'kala teeka' in the country's development."

Suspicion is embedded in their blood and bones. When something nice happens, we put kala teeka. But the Opposition wears kala kapda and becomes the kala teeka for the country and brings mangal," he said, adding that the Opposition has a big problem as “they cannot hear anything good about the country.”

Commenting on the earlier no-confidence motions and how the leader of the House spoke prominently in the debate. "I don't know what was the compulsion of Congress for sidelining Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, maybe the call was made from Kolkata. The tallest leader in Opposition did not rank in the list of speakers," he said.

"It was Amit Shah's magnanimity that he promised time to Chowdhury. The Opposition could not prepare for debate on no-confidence motion despite so much time in hand... even its sympathisers are disappointed," he added.

The opposition put forward the no-confidence motion on July 26, and the Speaker of the Lok Sabha, Om Birla, approved it. This is the second time the BJP-led NDA government is facing such a motion. The Parliament has been stuck with disagreements on various topics, including the conflict in Manipur, ever since the Monsoon Session started on July 20.
