The Northern Limit of Monsoon (NLM) has progressed in some parts of Rajasthan, Haryana and Punjab. Meanwhile, a well-marked low-pressure area (LPA) over Northeast Madhya Pradesh will likely move west-northwestwards, shifting heavy rainfall areas further west. Moreover, an east-west trough extends from Northwest Rajasthan to the Northeast Bay of Bengal across Haryana, South Uttar Pradesh, and Jharkhand. Additionally, an off shore trough is running across the Gujarat and Kerala coasts. These systems may collectively aid the progress of the southwest monsoon over the next few days.
