YouTuber Devraj Patel, known for 'dil se bura lagta hai bhai' meme, dies in road accident

Raipur, June 27: A 22-year-old YouTuber and comedian Devraj Patel, popular for 'dil se bura lagta hai bhai' meme, died in a road accident in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. He is known for his comedy videos and collaborations with famous YouTuber-turned-actor Bhuvan Bam.

The accident took place around 3:30 pm near Telibandha at Agarsen Dham on a national highway. Patel was riding pillion on a bike driven by his friend Rakesh Manhar. The comedian died on the spot and his friend got severely injured.

 

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel mourned his loss and tweeted, "Devraj Patel, who made his place among crores of people with “Dil Se Bura Lagta Hai”, who made us all laugh, left us today. The loss of amazing talent at this young age is very sad. May God give strength to his family and loved ones to bear this loss. Om Shanti," he added in his tweet which also featured a video of Devraj."

 

 

Devraj had over 4 lakh subscribers on his YouTube channel. On Instagram, he had over 57k followers. His last post on Instagram was a video that he posted today. He also worked with Bhuvan Bam in his web series Dhindora. His dialogue "Dil se bura lagta hai bhai" garnered attention in the web series as well.
