Pramila Jaypal, who is best known for her Anti-India agenda, & one of the 75 Senators who wrote a letter expressing concerns about Prime Minister Narendra Modi, was seen giving him a standing ovation and smiling as his address concluded.
Ironically, Pramila Jaypal earlier asked the senators to boycott Modi's speech in the US Congress.

The video of her is getting viral on social media sites. Sharing the same video BJP quipped on how Pramila Jayapal’s standing ovation defeated “Rahul’s efforts of lobbying with the West”.
BJP's National Information & Technology Dept. Co-in charge West Bengal Amit Malvia, said, "Pramila Jaypal, group leader of the toolkit gang, stood up and gave standing ovation, as Prime Minister Modi addressed the US Congress… Such is the power and charisma of the man vested interest loves to hate. Poor Rahul Gandhi must be distraught to see his efforts of lobbying with the West fail."
It should be noted that Indian External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar cancelled his meeting with a group of US lawmakers following their refusal to exclude anti-India Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal from the delegation that was scheduled to meet him.

“Don’t think her report has a fair understanding of the situation in Jammu and Kashmir or fair characterisation of what the Government of India is doing. I have no interest in meeting her,” the External Affairs Minister said.
All about Pramila Jaypal
Known as a big Narendra Modi hater, Jayapal had written letters on NRC, Kashmir, farmers' protests, and many others too.
Before the meeting between US President Joe Biden and PM Modi, US Representative Pramila Jayapal and Senator Chris Van Hollen led a bicameral letter, signed by over 70 colleagues, urging President Biden to discuss the importance of protecting human rights and democratic values in India.

The letter emphasized the need for honest and open discussions on areas of concern, such as political space, religious tolerance, civil society organizations, journalists, press freedoms, and internet access.
It should be noted that, In December 2019, she brought a Congressional resolution urging India to end restrictions on communications in Jammu and Kashmir. She had taken a controversial stand against the Indian Government’s decision to abrogate Article 370.
