Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is on a three-day state visit to the United States gifted special presents to President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden after arriving at the White House in Washington DC on Wednesday.
 
It should be noted that PM Modi is in the US on a state visit. This is his third invitation to Washington DC since he became India’s head of government – the first in 2014 to meet former President Barack Obama, the second in June 2017 to meet former President Donald Trump, and now to meet President Joe Biden.

The translation and collaboration between the two authors occurred throughout 1930s and it was one of the final works of Yeats.

The list also features a special sandalwood box with intricately carved flora and fauna patterns which were handcrafted by a master craftsman from Jaipur, Rajasthan while the sandalwood was sourced from Mysore, Karnataka.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Joe Biden will have a one-on-one meeting in the Oval Office of the White House on Thursday before holding high-level talks to further boost the growing Indo-US strategic relations in areas like defence, space, clean energy and critical technologies.

“This visit will affirm the deep and close partnership between the United States and India and the warm bonds of family and friendship that link Americans and Indians together,” the White House said on Wednesday. “The visit will strengthen our two countries' shared commitment to a free, open, prosperous, and secure Indo-Pacific and shared resolve to elevate the technology partnership, including in defence, clean energy, and space,” it said.
