Ayodhya, May 18: A fresh picture of the iconic Ram Mandir which is taking shape in Uttar Pradesh's Ayodhya was shared by Champat Rai, General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, which showcases the "Garbha Griha".
According to Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, 70% work on the ground floor has been completed.
Sharing the image, he tweeted, "श्री राम जन्मभूमि मंदिर के गृभगृह की दीवार। अद्भुत, अलौकिक...भव्य रूप ले रहा मंदिर।"
According to Rai, 40% of the roof work of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple has been completed. The temple is now taking a grand form.
The ground floor of the temple is expected to be ready before January 2024. Temple trust member Mahant Kamal Nayan Das has informed the temple gates will be opened for devotees on the occasion of Makar Sankranti on January 14 and 15 next year (2024).
The idols of Bhagwan Ram & other deities will also be installed at the premises before the end of this year.
In fact, the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra are working on a timeline to complete the construction of first floor of temple by this year and open the doors of temple for public, from January 1, 2024.
