Visiting Banaras and Ayodhya, was unique experience. Apart from this, Baba Vishwanath Mandir visit too is an incredible experience, when one looks around and observes people standing in the queue, realises that it is very special.
People of all age and strata of society could be seen waiting patiently for their turn. They silently waited for this change to take place. In Ayodhya, a big number of groups had rented buses, travelled during night, were cooking their food finding a suitable place near the Sarayu river, were ready to travel back again after the darshan.
Elderly men and women chose wheel chairs which were available, they were determined to visit the temple. Many were chanting Jai shreeram or Baba ki Jai in there trembling voices.
It was an emotional moment for all, some were chanting
shiv stuti or shiv tandav, or just chanting Ram nam in impassioned voices. Eyes were moist and immense anxiety could be sensed, young people could be heard raising high pitch and high decible slogans for Shri Ram and Baba Vishwanath. Their enthusiasm filled the air with energy and a sort of promise. Their faith and feelings could be easily felt.
Though the places are managed by police force extremely well, people too cooperated with heart and soul. No commotion or agitation, all enthusiastic and highly anxious people conduct themselves incredibly well.
Even at Vindhyavasini mandir near Banaras where there was a huge gathering of devotees, a similar picture could be seen. At all the places women police staff was also a part of the police administration. They too were working relentlessly.
Two women cops had duty inside the small sanctorium of Vindhyavasini mandir near Banaras, it really was a difficult position, as there hardly was sufficient space for anybody to stand and control. I felt like bowing down to these officers for their patience, they were working in a extremely difficult condition and doing the arduous and demanding job.
I practically put my hands together every time I met women officers. Most of them silently smiled at me and nodded without words. There was one woman officer who was busy managing people efficiently, responded me when I mentioned that they are tirelessly working and managing the difficult task,
"इतनी मुश्किल से जो मिला है राम मंदिर ". I was totally awestruck, realising her sensibilities moved on silently.
This time all could see Ram Lalla virajman easily, could see the idol and feel the existence of the deity.
Six years ago,one could not imagine this. There was a serpentine queue and unending cage path to reach the makeshift temple, and, one could hardly cast a gaze at Ram lala. One could only remember the maze, not the Ram lala virajman, there hardly was any time to get it imprinted.
This time, it was a great experience. Now it is Ram Lalla virajman in every heart.
The construction site is not open to all, but one can watch it from distance and imagine the colossal complex being built. Most of the devotees were at peace with darshan.
Still there are many aspects of the projects to be unfolded, a lot of infrastructure to be built, a lot of development would have to take place in the town too.
But,yes, it is a big start!
I also met a big group of some 45 people, they had been to Ayodhya as temple is being built up. All are involved in some simple kind of work, may be work on daily basis, but have strong desire to visit Ayodhya. Some of them are really very aged ,they feel may be they won't have time to be alive till the work gets completed. So set for journey. All were very happy and contented with the news of Mandir. Sometimes one gets baffled when one witnesses the strongly deep rooted faith that brings people at the feet of Ram Lalla.
