New Delhi, Apr 24: Pakistan-Canadian author, columnist Tarek Fatah passed away on Monday (Apr 24) due to prolonged illness. Tarek Fateh was 73. The news was disclosed by his daughter.
The news came forth after his daughter, journalist Natasha Fatah shared the information of his demise on Twitter. Although born in Pakistan & a Muslim by birth, Tarek Fatah was a staunch supporter of Hindutva. The columnist reportedly died after prolonged illness.
His daughter Natasha Fatah, confirmed his death tweeting, "Lion of Punjab. Son of Hindustan. Lover of Canada. Speaker of truth. Fighter for justice. Voice of the downtrodden, underdogs, and the oppressed. Tarek Fatah has passed the baton on his revolution will continue with all who knew and loved him. Will you join us? 1949-2023."
