After the lawmaker, former politician & Robinhood, now a pro-education face of Atiq Ahmed has emerged. This journo Zakir Ali Tyagi might not be aware but the local community will never forget the spine-chilling Kareli Madrasa gang-r@pe by Atiq Ahmed's men in 2007.

 

 

 

On the night of 17.1.2007 some goons, disguised as cops, barged into a residential girl Madrasa Jamia Al Saalihat Islamia in Kareli, Allahabad. They locked the watchman & enquired about the Maulana (manager) from the lady caretaker. By the time all girls woke up.

 

 

 

The intruders with knives & guns then picked two minor girls & locked the rest of them in a room. The unfortunate two were taken into nearby fields and gang r@ped for 2 hours. This was the first of its kind girl's Madrasa in the city meant for poor girls who want to study. Both the survivors crying, shocked in pain in the chilling night of January, came back to Madrasa. The next morning help was reached but the local cops didn't cooperate until higher authorities were involved and the case was registered. In this, all delays and pushes the medical of the r@pe victim took place a day after on the 19th. Understand that delay in medical is extremely stressing part as they cannot wash themselves to prevent the evidence of brutality. Now you and Im the journo Tyagi would be shocked the learn the motive of the crime! The motive behind the crime was instilling fear into the mind of girls and staff to vacate the land in order to pave way for a 200mtr wide road linking Ahmed & relatives' residential projects. One of those projects Alina City was demolished in 2018 by the Yogi govt. The project land was occupied by SC farmers. The Madrasa r@pe took massive political uproar but all 5 accused were acquitted after 2 yrs due to a "lack of evidence". This was the era of Bahubalis in UP.
