Viral VIdeo : Tamil Nadu collector makes assistant carry his shoes during temple visit

Chennai, April 12: The collector of Tamil Nadu’s Kallakurichi district recently made his assistant carry his shoes during a temple visit and the act was caught on camera. A video of the incident is now going viral on social media.

In the 2-minute clip, District Collector Sravan Kumar can be seen coming out of his chauffeur-driven car and being welcomed by several people.

Kumar can then be seen motioning to call his assistant over, who takes his shoes off and carries them away.Sravan Kumar had visited Ulundurpettai to take stock of the arrangements for the world-famous Koovagam Koothandavar temple festival.

The district Collector, who was at the venue, later went inside the venue and paid obeisance. The video has earned flak from netizens.
