Who is Kajal Hindustani, a Hindu activist arrested on Sunday was reportedly arrested by Gujarat’s Una police. This comes after a case was registered against her for an alleged "hate speech". She has been sent to Junagadh jail following an appearance in front of the Magistrate at his residence, reports said.

 

This came after the Ram Navami procession (Shobhayatra) was taken out in Una of district Gir Somnath, Gujarat. Following the procession, an event was organized where Hindu activist Kajal Hindustani was one of the speakers. The Dharmasabha took place at Raavanvadi near Trikon Bagh.

 

 

During her speech at this event, she was talking about having weapons in self-defence. In a speech, she was talking to "picking up arms to defence themselves" during an event. "For how long we will play defence.. defence, my Guru taught me that attack is the best defence. Our target should be clear, these Islamists who raise slogans like, “Lad ke liya tha Pakistan, Has ke lenge Hindustan” and who take the oath of making India an Islamic country by 2047, these are my enemies."

 

Soon after this, there were reports of stone pelting at various places in the city. In addition to this, the Sar Tan Se Juda slogans were also raised against her.

 

 

However, things got worse after a video of this speech went viral when the so-called Alt News co-founder Mohammad Zubair has shared it on social media inciting communal disharmony.

 

 

1. Kajal Hindustani identifies herself as an entrepreneur, research analyst, social activist, nationalist, and a "proud Indian" on her Twitter bio. She has 92,000 followers on the microblogging site.

 

2. Her former name was Kajal Shingala who changed her name to Kajal Hindustani because of strong nationalist views.

 

3. Kajal Hindustani has also spreads awareness about Indian culture and religions and works for the human rights of Hindus.

 

4. Kajal, who often appears on TV news channel debates, has helped Pakistani Hindus to settle in Gujarat. She has also stated to have adopted a village.
