New Delhi, Mar 24: The Surat District Court on Thursday held Congress leader and Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi guilty in a criminal defamation case filed against him over his remarks insulting the entire community that uses the Modi surname. He had said during a speech that "everyone with the Modi surname is a thief."

Renuka Chowdhury Modi Surpanaka
"Angered" over this, now Congress leader Renuka Chowdhury has come forward to show "support" in the most weird way. Taking to Twitter, she said she will file a defamation case against Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the alleged 'Surpanakha' comment made in Parliament in 2018 where he didn't even used the word.

Let's see what is her claim-

This so-called defamation dates back to February 7, 2018 when PM Modi was speaking in the Rajya Sabha amid continuous interruption from the Opposition.

Congress's Renuka Chowdhury laughed inviting a rebuke from then-chairman Venkaiah Naidu. "Sabhapati Ji, meri aapko prarthana hai Renuka Ji ko aap Kuch mat kahiye. Ramayan serial ke baad aise hasi sunane ka aaj saubhagya mila hai (Respected chairman, I request you to not say anything to Renuka ji. After Ramayan serial, got the opportsunity to hear such laughter for the first time)," PM Modi said.

PM Modi never mentioned the word Surpanakha. There are dozens of female characters in the Ramayana. So how did Renuka ji arrive at the conclusion that the PM was calling her Surpanakha? She has assumed it herself.

Netizens have called out her for this gimmick!

Seems like Congress leaders rather than solving the real problems are busy in doing these stupid acts!
