India's Biggest Book Fair "Pune Book Festival 2023" inaugurated at Fergusson College

Pune, December 16: The Pune Book Festival, organized by the National Book Trust, in collaboration with the Pune Municipal Corporation, was inaugurated at Fergusson College in the city which will be held from December 16 to 24.
 
 The Pune Book Festival was inaugurated today by Chandrakant Patil, Minister of Higher and Technical Education of Maharashtra. Oraganised by Rajesh Pande along with National Book Trust , the festival is now open for everyone at the Fergusson College Ground from 16th December to 24th December.

The event was graced by the presence of Milind Marathe(Chairman NBT), Bageshri Manthalkar, Yuvraj Malik (Director NBT), Yadvinder Bhagat Singh Sandhu(Descendant of Shahid Bhagat Singh), Neelam Gore, Murlidhar Mohol, Sanjay Chakane.

Rajesh Pandey, the festival's organizer, said that the Pune Book Festival is a major cultural event for the city. "This is the biggest book festival after the Delhi Book Fair, and it will be a great opportunity for Punekars to enjoy a variety of books and events," he said.
 

The festival will feature over 200 stalls selling books in various languages, as well as a variety of programs for children, politicians, and other guests. This nine-day event promises a plethora of books, engaging programs, and renowned personalities, making it a must-attend for everyone.

Renowned personalities like Hindi poet Dr. Kumar Vishwas, author Vikram Sampath, scientist Dr. Raghunath Mashelkar, and journalist Sourabh Dwivedi will share their insights and engage in stimulating discussions.
