India successfully tested its surface-to-surface short-range ballistic missile (SRBM) 'Pralay' from Abdul Kalam Island off the coast of Odisha on Tuesday.
Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) created the missile. According to the official, the missile, which was fired about 9.50 a.m., accomplished all of its mission goals.
According to him, a battery of tracking sensors watched its path down the shoreline.
According to the official, 'Pralay' is a 350-500 km short-range surface-to-surface missile with a payload capacity of 500-1,000 kg.
He went on to say that 'Pralay' was designed for deployment along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) and Line of Control (LoC).
