Reports suggest that the body of Khwaja Shahid was found to be 'beheaded' and His body was found just days after reports of his abduction.

Khwaja Shahid, alias Mia Mujahid, a resident of the Neelum Valley of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, was kidnapped by unknown gunmen and untraceable. Pakistan's intel agency, ISI, and army were struggling to trace him. However, he has been found dead.

He had planned the terror attack on an army camp in Sunjuwan in Jammu. Six jawans and one army officer were killed in the attack. One civilian was also killed in the attack. All three terrorists were neutralized in the retaliatory attack by the army in an operation that lasted 24 hours.

18 anti-terrorists neutralized in 20 months in Pakistan

Shahid is reportedly the 18th anti-India terrorist to be neutralised in 20 months. Last month, Daud Malik, a tribal leader who was a trusted confidant of Jaish chief Masood Azhar, was gunned down in broad daylight by unidentified gunmen in North Waziristan.

This event followed the recent killing of Hafiz Saeed's close associate, Mufti Qaiser Farooq, in the heart of Karachi. Farooq, hailing from Dera Ismail Khan, shared a profound connection with the globally designated terrorist Hafiz Saeed, making his assassination a severe blow to the LeT.

The relentless chain of targeted killings of anti-India terrorists and activists in Pakistan began with the assassination of Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) operative Mistri Zahoor Ibrahim, alias Zahid Akhoond, a hijacker of IC-814 flight. Zahid Akhoond, a member of the Jaish-e-Mohammed, fell victim to unidentified gunmen who shot him twice in the head at point-blank range.
