The annual Delhi Queer Pride Parade is held on the last Sunday of November every year since 2008. World over the LGBTQ community holds a pride parade/march every year in many parts of the world in the month of June. The 2023 parade was held on Sunday, 26th November in Delhi. In one of the earlier articles named “
Jews for Hitler”, we saw how dumb the slogan of ‘Queers for Palestine’ was considering the atrocities committed by Palestinian authorities and jihadi organizations like Hamas on homosexuals in the Gaza and West Bank.
To match the above dumbness, the members of the LGBTQ community of India also voiced their concern for Palestine in the parade held on Sunday. The posters included the famous ‘Queers for Palestine’ slogan, a map of Israel with the words ‘No to occupation’, ‘No to Genocide’, ‘Queer Liberation’, and the favorite word ‘Azadi’.
This Delhi Queer Pride Parade has had the habit of indulging in socio-religious and political stuff over the last few years. A pride parade meant for ‘coming out’ or ‘exhibiting sexual preferences’ engaging in political/religious stuff, raises suspicion regarding the genuine concern for LGBTQ rights. Let’s see the examples of slogans raised over the last few years.
2018 – Smash Brahminical Patriarchy – What’s patriarchy got to do with LGBTQ pride? Why target a particular caste of India? Who decided that patriarchy is only Brahminical and not practiced by other castes?
2019 – Kashmir Maangey Azadi – This slogan was raised in opposition to abrogation of Article 370 which was temporarily applicable to Jammu & Kashmir. What’s LGBTQ community got to do with Kashmir at LGBTQ pride parade?
2022-23 – Sambhavami U Gay U Gay – This slogan was used to mock the popular verse in the Bhagwad Gita. Isn’t this mischief?
In 2018, the Kinnar Akhara was invited by the Akhil Bharatiya Sant Samiti (ABSS) for its two-day event at New Delhi. The representatives of the Akhara praised the openness of the Sanatana Dharma to the transgender community. Surprisingly, the LGBTQ community opposed this by focussing on the Brahmin caste of Laxmi Narayan Tripathi, the then head of the Kinnar Akhara.
The Leftists are world famous for hijacking campaigns, and filling campaigns with their failed ideas. Delhi Queer Pride Parade seems to be in the wrong hands, indoctrinated by the Leftist garbage. This pride parade has been using anti-Hindu slogans and hatred for the saffron colour to grab eyeballs and to stay relevant. The support for Palestine is like a support by chickens to KFC. This happens only because of the leftist hijack and indoctrination.
Delhi Queer Pride Parade has become yet another leftist platform for spewing venom against the Hindu faith. The LGBTQ community can raise such slogans because deep inside they know and take for granted, the natural tolerance of the majority in India. The Queers for Palestine slogan was expected to be raised by the LGBTQ community in India to copy their counterpart world over. Delhi Queer Pride parade met this expectation.
