DYFI leader arrested for molesting a minor girl in Palakkad district. According to police records, K Ahmmed, a native of Cherpulassery and a member of the Cherpulassery Block Committee, was arrested for molesting a 16-year-old girl.
The police arrested the DYFI leader yesterday evening in connection with the case. The case was registered by the police based on a complaint filed by the 16-year-old girl victim and her parents.
A case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act was registered against the accused, and the investigation has started.
At the same time, a photograph of the accused alongside former Finance Minister Thomas Isaac has surfaced, raising allegations about potential influence the accused might exert on the investigating officers.
