The decade-long wait of lord Rama's devotees is going to end in January 2024. In a latest development, The auspicious muhurt (time) for Ram Lalla's pran pratishtha is finalised and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will perform rituals on January 22, 2024 at 12:20 pm in the Mrigashira Nakshatra.

The decision to give this event an international dimension was made during a meeting of the Sangh Parivar held on Sunday (19 November) at the Saket Nilayam. In this meeting, it was decided to advance the preparations by dividing the campaign for the event into four phases.
 
The first phase began on Sunday and will continue until 20 December. During this period, the outline of the event's schedule will be prepared. For this purpose, small operational committees will be formed. Agreement has been reached to form teams of 10 people at the district and block levels.
 
 
 
The teams will include volunteers from the temple movement. The teams will hold meetings at 250 locations to appeal to more and more people to join the event, Amar Ujala reported.
 
The second phase will commence on 1 January, focusing on the 'home-to-home contact' plan. In this phase, a picture of Lord Ram's idol, worshipped rice (akshat) and a leaflet will be distributed to 10 crore families for worship. Through this, people will be appealed to celebrate the event by lighting diyas (lamps).
 
The third phase is scheduled for 22 January. On that day, a festive atmosphere will be created nationwide, with household observances. The fourth phase aims to arrange travel for devotees from across the country to have a glimpse of Lord Ram.
 
This phase will start from Republic Day and continue until 22 February The campaign will be conducted at the state level, and the workers of the Awadh region are planned to be shown the deity on 31 January and 1 February.
