India has recently tested a number of BrahMos missiles, including an extended-range land and air variant, all of which are apparently being brought into service with the Indian Army and Indian Air Force (IAF).

This updated version of the BrahMos is projected to increase the missile's range from 290 kilometers to 450 kilometers, increasing India's ability to strike deep within enemy territory.
