HUGE! Sleeper version of Vande Bharat trains set to hit the track on THIS DATE!

New Delhi, Oct 6: Following the immense popularity of the Vande Bharat trains with sitting accommodation, Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw recently released some stunning prototype images of the much-awaited Vande Bharat sleeper coaches, which will be jointly manufactured by the Integral Coach Factory (ICF) and Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML).

 

 

 

While releasing the concept images of coaches of the indigenous-built semi-high speed train, Ashwini Vaishnaw mentioned that the sleeper versions of Vande Bharat Express will be launched in early 2024. Last week, news agency ANI reported, quoting sources, that the newly designed sleeper coaches of the Vande Bharat Express train will be rolled out by February 2024.

 

 

The upcoming sleeper version of Vande Bharat trains boasts several improvements, including superior suspension and enhanced lighting compared to conventional trains. Passengers can look forward to a next-generation interior designed to meet their needs, offering ample space and convenient ladders for reaching upper berths. This development represents a significant addition to the Indian Railways' fleet, as these high-speed sleeper trains will enable passengers to undertake long-distance journeys overnight.

 

In an announcement on social media, the Railway Minister indicated that a faster prototype of the sleeper Vande Bharat train will be unveiled in early 2024.

 

The recent images revealed by Ashwini Vaishnaw appear to give a revolutionised rail travel experience to the commuters with state-of-the-art interior and amenities. The concept sleeper coaches have a classic wooden design along with more comfortable seats. The coaches also have ambient floor lighting and enhanced top lights.
