The Indian Navy's Swavalamban 2023 show in the national capital included the Dronaam counter-drone technology. The Indian Air Force has ordered 100 of these devices, which disrupt drone communication with their ground station.
The Indian Air Force also used these weapons at the G20 Summit. This is entirely homegrown, and it won the IDEX competition in 2021, according to Gurutva Systems' Akshay Jain on Wednesday.

The Indian Navy's anti-swarm drone 30 mm ammunition is also on display during the Swavalambam 2023 expo at Bharat Mandapam.

The drone may construct an iron wall around its own warships to defend them from an attack by an enemy swarm of hundreds of drones. The AK-630 closein weapon system use 30mm ammunition. The ammunition was created in collaboration with a Pune-based defense research facility.

A single round will burst and disseminate 300 steel balls in anti-swarm drone munitions, and many shells will be fired.A steel wall will be built in the air to safeguard the assets from any aerial or drone attack. The ammo will be fired from a ship-mounted AK-630 gun.The Navy is developing a proximity fuse to make it more destructive since it bursts near the drone using this technology.

The Gurutvaa Systems 'DRONAAM' is a cutting-edge, modular system that is particularly developed to provide complete defense against illegal unmanned aerial systems (UAS). The DRONAAM system delivers directional or omni-directional coverage and may be operated dismounted or mounted. The device may be constructed as a fully integrated rifle-style, safe countermeasure in a back-pack. It may be put on any moving or stationary installation or permanent installation and can provide directional or omni-directional coverage. The technology enables signal jamming for GNSS, Control, Video, and Telemetry, effectively disrupting commercial drone navigation and control and resulting to soft-kill.

Gurutvaa Systems has also delivered the first set of the indigenously developed ‘Dronaam' counter-unmanned aircraft systems (C-UASs) to the Indian Air Force (IAF).
