PM Modi unveils development projects of about Rs 27,000 crore in poll-bound Chhattisgarh

Raipur, Oct 3: Prime Minister Narendra Modi committed to the country and set the groundwork for several development projects worth over Rs 27,000 crore in Chhattisgarh on Tuesday, including the NMDC Steel Ltd's steel mill at Nagarnar. He conducted prayers at the Danteshwari Temple in the state's Bastar area before to the event.

PM Modi dedicated a steel facility in Nagarnar that cost more over Rs 23,800 crore. The steel factory is a brand-new construction project that will produce high-quality steel. He stated that the ideal of a developed India would be realized after every nook of the country has been developed. "Today multiple development projects worth more than Rs 27,000 crore have been dedicated to the nation and foundation stone laid," he stated.

NMDC Steel Ltd's Nagarnar Steel factory is projected to employ thousands of people in the factory as well as in auxiliary and downstream sectors. It will place Bastar on the global steel map and help the region's socioeconomic growth.
 
 

PM Modi also dedicated a new rail connection between Antagarh and Taroki, as well as a project to double the length of the train line between Jagdalpur and Dantewara.

He established the groundwork for the duplication of the Boridand-Surajpur train line and the rebuilding of Jagdalpur Station as part of the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme.

The Prime Minister officially launched the Taroki-Raipur DEMU Train Service.

According to officials, these train projects would boost connectivity in Chhattisgarh's tribal districts. The enhanced rail infrastructure and increased train service will benefit the local community and contribute to the region's economic growth.

According to them, the Prime Minister also dedicated a road improvement project on National Highway-43 from 'Kunkuri to Chhattisgarh - Jharkhand Border sector'. The new route will increase road connection, which will help the residents of the area.

Chhattisgarh is one of five states that will hold elections by the end of the year. The BJP is attempting to depose the state's Congress administration, which took office in 2018.
