Gliders India, Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders, and Armoured Vehicles Nigam are three Indian firms showing their expertise at the Show as part of India's national Pavilion, buoyed by worldwide interest in their goods and developing India-South Korea connections.
"All Gliders India products are completely indigenous, with no foreign content at all," claimed V K Tiwari, Chairman and Managing Director of Gliders India. "Until 2021, our customers were the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force." We have spent the previous two years working on exporting our products. Since then, we've had six export orders. We are also receiving repeat purchases from overseas consumers."
According to Pratiksha Saini, Gliders India Joint General Manager, the firm has sold items to Malaysia, Vietnam, Bulgaria, and Indonesia in the previous two years. "Our products are known for their high quality because we manufacture life-saving equipment." In addition to being of high quality, our items are far less expensive than those of our competitors.
We have alliances with corporations in various nations and are now in talks with potential new international partners."
Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders has had significant export success, according to Company Chief Manager Geeta Sunatkari."We construct warships and submarines, as well as missile boats and corvettes." We have supplied 243 vessels to nations including Singapore, the Bahamas, Indonesia, and Mauritius. Netherlands was another recent consumer."
According to Deepak Sharma, firm Chief Manager, the firm is now focusing on releasing new goods such as a drone for mine neutralization. A miniature submarine prototype is now being tested, he noted.
Vehicles with Armor Nigam produces armored fighting vehicles, main battle tanks, and engines for them. Its notable products include the Arjun notable battle tank, the T-90, the T-72, and the BMP-2 Sarath.
