And your wait is over! With the caption Zindagi unki. Itihas hamaara, the makers of the ‘Sam Bahadur’ has released the teaser of the of the much-awaited biopic Sam Bahadur, based on the life of field marshal Sam Manekshaw, was unveiled by its makers on Friday.
Featuring Vicky Kashal as the former chief of the Indian Army, Sam Manekshaw, the film also stars Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh. The Heroism & Valor of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw displayed in its full glory.Sanya Malhotra appears as his wife, while Fatima Sana Shaikh can be seen as former PM, Indira Gandhi.
Set around the 1971 war between India and Pakistan, the 2-minute trailer shows Vicky as Sam Bahadur and how he's ready to sacrifice everything for the sake of his country.In the teaser, Vicky Kaushal steps perfectly into Manekshaw’s shoes, imbibing his mannerisms and his bravery. He seems to be perfecting the character. The audience is given a glimpse into how much he was attached to his Army life and that he could do anything for the Indian Army.
Training the troop of soldiers, Sam is energetically preparing his army men for the war as he keeps him and his soldiers away from all the politics going on.
In the trailer, the actor can be heard saying, ''Ek soldier ke liye uski jaan se zada keemti hoti hai uski izzat…uski wardi…aur ek soldier apni wardi ki izzat ke liye apni jaan bhi de sakta hai (For a solider, the most valuable thing than his life is his respect, his uniform and to prevent them from getting tarnished, he can even sacrifice his life).''
