Congress senior leader Rahul Gandhi, who is busy with the Bharat Jodo Yatra, shared a video of his interview with actor-turned-politician Kamal Haasan, where the two discussed a range of issues, including films, politics, Chinese aggression, cinema, and etc.
 
 
Seeing the style, execution and set of the interview, reminds us of an interview that is very similar to it.
 
In 2019, actor Akshay Kumar sat down with Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a candid interview at 7 Lok Kalyan marg, the PM's residence. However, the only difference between both the interviews is that PM Modi spoke a lot about his life and experiences and everything but politics and election.
 
But, as expected, Rahul Gandhi, in his interaction with Kamal Haasan, for sake of slamming ruling party's policies and schemes babbled a lot. The Congress leader, of course, targetted PM Modi, spitting lies about India-China border conflict. In a snippet, he said, "We constantly hear about what is going on in the border. And the fact of the matter is China has taken about 2,000 km of our territory. Frankly we have not said anything," whereas he always raised question about the Indian Army on the same matter.
 
On similar lines, he went on to continue the interview with the so-called liberal, Kamal Haasan.
 
Netizens were also seen mocking both of them for copy-pasting the style of the interview. Several users said "Ye sirf Modi ko copy kar raha Akshay Kumar ki jagah Kamal Haasan (Rahul Gandhi is trying to copy Modi, instead of Akshay Kumar, Kamal Haasan is there)
 
 
Netizens also mocked Kamal Haasan for not conducting the interview in how it should be "Hey @akshaykumar ,teach @ikamalhaasan sir art of interview ...no questions like aam kaise khate hai"

One user claimed that Rahul Gandhi is highly influenced by PM Narendra Modi. "Rahul baba is too much influenced with Mr Modi.*Mr Modi did interview with Akshay Kumar. *Mr Rahul baba repeating same with Kamal Hassan," the user said.
