Anti-Hindu trends continue! Rationalist KS Bhagwan utters derogatory comments against 'Lord Ram', claims he used to drink wine with Sita

Mandya, January 21: Passing comment on the Hindu god and hurting the sentiments of Hindus has become the trend for communists, rationalists, and intellectuals. Following the anti-Hindu trend, notorious writer and rationalist KS Bhagwan passed derogatory comments on 'Lord Ram' saying that Lord Ram used to drink wine with Sita every afternoon.
Referring to the 'Valmiki Ramayana' he states that Lord Ram used to sit with his wife Sita every afternoon and drink wine. In the afternoon, Rama's main activity was to sit with Sita and drink wine. I am not saying this. That's what the documents say, the writer was heard saying.

Some Hindu outfits had then strongly protested against KS Bhagwan's comments and tried to perform 'puja' outside the residence of the writer. The government had to tighten the security outside KS Bhagwan's residence to prevent members of outfits from performing the rituals. Back then, a Hindu outfit led by KM Nishant had tried to perform puja outside Bhagwan's residence in Kuvempunagar.
