New Delhi, Sept 5: An infiltrator from Pakistan who was captured by the Army last month and had claimed to have received funds from a Pakistani colonel to attack the Indian Army died on Saturday after suffering a cardiac arrest.
Terrorist Tabarak Hussain was being treated at the Army Hospital in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri after suffering bullet injuries in his leg and shoulder. Hussain said he was sent along with three to four other terrorists who were paid money by Pakistani Colonel Yunus Choudhary to carry out a 'fidayeen' attack on Indian soldiers after crossing the LoC. Hussain received a bullet wound while his accomplices escaped.
Tabarak was captured in injured condition on August 21 along the Line of Control in Jhanger Nowshera during a failed infiltration bid. According to reports, he was the son of Mistri Malik, a resident of Sabzakote in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
Authorities on Sunday evening conducted the postmortem of the body of PoK terrorist Tabarak Hussain in Sub District Hospital Surankote through a board of doctors after which body has been handed over to Army authorities who are expected to return the body to Pakistan on Monday.
Pakistan, shamelessly, has turned the tables calling him "mentally challenged". According to Radio Pakistan, the national public broadcaster for radio in Pakistan, claimed, "A mentally challenged resident of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Tabarak Hussain, who recently had inadvertently crossed the Line of Control in Rajouri district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, has been martyred in the custody of Indian army."
Further, it said, "Tabarak Hussain was shot and arrested in injured condition by the Indian troops after he unintentially crossed the LoC in Naushera area of Rajouri district in the month of August."
