New York, Spetember 20: External Affairs minister S Jaishankar who is on his visit to United State, reiterated India's deep commitment to multilateralism during his meeting with President of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly Casba Korosi.
Taking twitter Jaishankar also informed that he discussed the critically of Sudtainable Development Goals agenda for global progress during the meeting.
For unreserved, Jaishankar, is in New York for the hight level U.N gereral Assembly Session began his hectic diplomatic week with a series of bilateral and multilateral engagements on the sideline of the high-level session.
During his long stay in the US, Jaishankar will address world leaders from the UNGA podium on September 24, after a hectic week of more than 50 official engagements including bilateral, plurilateral and multilateral engagements at the high-level session and on the sidelines.
Jaishankar's US visit will also include a trip to Washington after the UNGA session where he will hold discussions with officials of Biden administration including his counterpart Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
While in New York, he will meet with UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres.
Jaishankar will be hosting a Ministerial meeting of the G4 (India, Brazil, Japan, Germany), as well as participate at the High Level Meeting of the L.69 Group on "Reinvigorating Multilateralism and Achieving Comprehensive Reform of the UN Security Council, the Ministry of External Affairs said in a statement
The L.69 Group consists of developing countries from Asia, Africa, Latin America, Caribbean and Small Island Developing States, focused on reforms of the UN Security Council.
During the visit, he would also participate in plurilateral meetings of the Quad, IBSA, BRICS..
