In a horrifying video, a Muslim mob tried to break into a Hindu's house for fake blasphemy accusations in Pakistan's Hyderabad. This came after a Dalit Hindu man was allegedly charged under Pakistan's draconian blasphemy law for allegedly desecrating the Quran. However, it was a Muslim woman who tried to destroy the book.

Muslim mob try to lynch Dalit Hindu after fake blasphemy case was lodged in Pakistan
According to the Pakistani media reports, Ashok Kumar, who is a sanitary worker, was booked under 295B of blasphemy law after a shopkeeper named Bilal Abbasi complained against Kumar alleging that the Hindu community member desecrated the Quran in Hyderabad.

To arrest Kumar, the Hyderabad police went to his residence. Notably, a Muslim mob gathered outside Kumar's residence after the news of blasphemy spread like a forest fire. These people demanded Hyderabad police hand over the Hindu community member to them accusing him of blasphemy.

There are media reports of it was actually a Muslim woman who had tried to destroy the book. On the other hand, media reports also say the Hyderabad police claimed that the Hindu sanitary worker was targeted because of a personal clash with Bilal Abbasi as the allegation of blasphemy came after a brawl between Kumar and Abbasi. Following this, the latter lodged a complaint against Kumar accusing him of the desecration of the Quran.

The rules against blasphemy in Pakistan are being exploited widely in order to benefit the accuser. Notably, criticising Islam or the Prophet is punishable by death, according to blasphemy laws. Several nations have denounced Pakistan for enforcing such contentious laws as they harmed human rights, including freedom of religion.
