New Delhi, August 16: Union Minister for tourism and culture G Krishan Reddy accused the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) of running a corrupt and dictatorial government in Telangana for eight years.
He further claimed that Telangana Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao spends 15 days in a farmhouse each month and does not interact with the common people.
"People don't want such a CM. He didn't even attend the 'At home' function... Such a CM won't remain in Telangana," said the union minister.
It should be noted that KCR chose to skip state governor Tamilisai Soundararajan's traditional 'At Home event. Rao had indicated that he had mended fences with the governor when he attended the swearing-in of the Chief Justice of the High court last month.
KCR had attended the governor's 'At Home' functions till 2020 when the relationship between the chief minister's office and Raj Bhavan were cordial.
