The Idea Behind “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign: UNITY

Do you remember, that we have always been taught India is a “Unity in diversity” country? We have always been taught that we all are one, and all Indians are our brothers and sisters. But how many times we have actually been involved in making this true? We are the people who keep biased opinions, support biased incidents, and oppose biased ideas. We are the people who have always been taught in schools that “De di hame azadi bina khadg bina dhal” but we have never been taught that there were people who fought for our country so that we can hoist this Tiranga with pride, and eventually sacrifice their lives yo get covered in this Tiranga. And that’s why we all needed this “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign, to come forward and support this unity to its core. This campaign is not just for 1 day, it is a feeling that should be deeply rooted in all Indians.

The idea behind the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign is nothing but “UNITY” Where we have always been a victim of “Devide and Rule” now is the time to prove that gone are the days when India was divided between caste and religion. Now is the time that we all pay tribute to our freedom fighters, Our jawans, our Army Navy, and our Airforce. Now is the time when as Indians we have to come forward together and show the world that we may look divided by culture and diversity but we will always be united by “Tiranga”. One for all, all for one.

Opposition is raising questions about how can the majority of the Indian population afford to buy a Tiranga and hoist it for a long time? Also, they even asked what will happen by changing your DPs on social media.

Well, I have an answer to that, Social Media is a huge platform where there is entire world is present. When all Indians will change their DPs. Indian citizens, common Indian Citizens will get noticed. Their unity will get noticed by the world. It is a strong message to the world from our end. When US citizens come together and changed their DPs for the 4th of July we did not ask these questions, then why now?

“Har Ghar Tiranga” is a symbol of everyone being equal in India, PM Narendra Modi’s and My DP will look exactly the same, and that’s what unity, and equality means. It is not just about changing a display picture, it is about the message that has been spread all over the world.

We had fought enough. We have had fights for lands, for religions, for caste, we have had enough now, and now is the time where we can forget everything, keep everything behind, participate in this campaign, and be a part of this large thought. Show the world that we believe in unity in diversity.
