New Delhi, July 07: Taking action against the filmmaker Leena Manimekalai, the Microblogging site Twitter has pulled down the controversial tweets of the filmmaker in which she had shared the controversial poster of the film ‘Kaali’.

The poster of her film depicted a woman dressed in a costume portraying the goddess and smoking.
 
She herself gave the information about the action via social media. Reacting to Twitter action, Leena in a tweet asked whether the social media platform would also withhold posts by "hate mongers."
 
 
“This is hilarious. Will @TwitterIndia withhold the tweets of the 200000 hate mongers?! These lowlife trolls tweeted and spread the very same poster that they find objectionable. Kaali cannot be lynched. Kaali cannot be raped. Kaali cannot be destroyed. She is the goddess of death,” she wrote.
 
 
 
It should be noted that the Delhi police have also registered a case against the filmmakers for hurting religious sentiments. She has been booked on charges of criminal conspiracy, offense in place of worship, deliberately hurting religious sentiments, and intention to provoke breach of peace.
